A Ukrainian restaurant Ciepło has opened in the historic Polish city of Krakow. The dishes are prepared by women who were forced to move to Krakow after the full-scale invasion of Russia. This was reported by UAinKrakow.
The official opening took place on 20 January, but for several months the restaurant had been serving customers in a test mode.
The idea to open the restaurant came from the ZeroCamps team, which has been sheltering refugees from Ukraine since the beginning of the war. Ciepło offers national cuisine in spacious halls with traditional Ukrainian elements and decorations.
The restaurant’s menu includes syrniki, borshch, Kyiv cutlet, dumplings, Poltava dumplings, soup and cold snacks. Polish gourmets can also enjoy Ukrainian bacon, pickled herring, and homemade bread.
The average restaurant bill is 40 zlotys (338 UAH). It should be noted that the most expensive dish is ribs, which cost 48 zlotys (405 UAH).
Ciepło restaurant is open from Tuesday to Sunday: on weekdays from 14:00 to 21:00, and on weekends from 13:00 to 22:00. The opening hours are planned to be extended in the future.
